Did You Know

Selection of stone is a multi step process, which varies according to application and personal taste. For example, granite is preferred for most kitchen countertops because of its durability, hardness, resistance to bacteria and heat. Alternatively, marble while quite beautiful, is softer, more porous than granite and somewhat susceptible to staining and scratching.

Granite Countertops

Custom kitchens have replaced the family living room as the focal point for entertaining and casual dining. Modern day eat-in kitchens now feature granite countertops that combine classic beauty with the durability and endurance of natural stone.

Our helpful sales staff will assist homeowners, designers, architects and contractors in selecting the best stone for each room décor and project budget. Remember to bring in cabinet and floor samples plus your kitchen layout with dimensions. We can provide you with stone samples from the huge assortment of quality slabs stored in our indoor warehouse.

Following your proposal acceptance, an experienced Bridgewater Marble & Granite templator will take all measurements needed for precise fabrication and a trouble-free installation. Best of all, there is no need to remove your old countertops prior to templating. Bridgewater Marble & Granite customers then have the unique opportunity to layout templates on their select slabs to incorporate specific features of the stone within their countertops.

On installation day we will install and seal your new stone countertops with a non-toxic; penetrating sealer to protect against spills and stains. As part of our recommended routine maintenance, we suggest that you re-seal your stone annually for maximum protection. This is a simple process that can be done easily by most homeowners within a few minutes.
